Instruction

Instruction allows educators to be channels for safe, positive learning environments. Without good instruction skills, an educator is disabled in the true responsibilities of teaching.

 

The educator should know their students: how they think, their interests, strengths and weaknesses, etc. Assignments and curriculum should be tailored to meet student needs, nevertheless staying interactive and engaging for all learning types. A teacher will get student feedback and participation when the student(s) feel respected, and when individual expectations can be attained.
